Interim disqualification for drink-driver

A MAN was charged with drink-driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident in Lyme Regis on Sunday, September 14.

A MAN was charged with drink-driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident in Lyme Regis on Sunday, September 14.The 40-year-old from Taunton was given an interim disqualification by the court, after police found him parked in a Citroen, in Monmouth Beach car park, slumped over the steering wheel. The van also appeared to have new accident damage on the near side and a report was received that the van had been involved in a collision in Pound Road a short time before.
