Axminster Primary School pupils challenged to create new flavour
Pupils at Axminster Community Primary Academy had a tough challenge to lick – creating a new ice-cream flavour. The competition was run by Val Voysey, of Furzeleigh Down Dairy, and the winner was Isobel Simpson.
The year five pupil’s entry was called Orange Secret, a combination of the fruit and some added chocolate.
Last week, the dairy made a batch of Isobel’s winning flavour ice-cream and took it to the school for a tasting session with her classmates. For her prize, Isobel received a voucher which she can spend at Mrs Voysey’s farm shop.
