Seven hundred-plus elected members are making policies for 27 countries, paid for by the Euro taxpayer, in the european Parliament.

In Britain, you have MPs in Westminster, the Scottish, Northern Ireland and Welsh Assemblies, paid for by British taxpayers, who only make around 25 per cent of British policy, 75 per cent being made by MEPs.

Where's the English parliament?

British politics have become a farce - 1,200 plus elected members for Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England and then, on top of that, the House of Lords.

It's time England had its own parliament. The other three sit in Westminster and make policies for us, but can Westminster MPs go and make policies in Scotland or Wales? I don't think so.

England pays NHS prescription charges. Is it to pay for those who don't?

The British pay enough in taxes, too much, but again England, more than the others, it seems, and for what?

So the British government can try to be spendthrifts, giving away money to other countries around the world at the cost of the NHS, public services, education and the pensioners.

Time for a change. Either a British parliament for Britain with, say, two to three hundred elected members, or an English parliament and the four go independent.
