I would just like to comment on the article in the Herald about patients missing appointments.
I would just like to comment on the article in the Herald about patients missing appointments. These figures are fine, but don't reflect on the surgery booking appointments with patients, then cancelling and re-booking weeks down the line. This is very inconsiderate when you have to work, as you have to re-arrange your whole week's work schedule again, also lose out on money if you cannot fill the space that becomes vacant from them moving your appointment. It would be nice if they could put up all appointments that they cancel with patients, made with doctors and nurses, rather than make things look all one-sided.
