Rehearsals are in full swing at Honiton Community College for its summer musical production ‘Les Miserables – Schools Edition’.

Arguably the most successful musical of the past 50 years, Les Miserables has been produced in nearly 50 countries worldwide, and in 2015 celebrated 30 years on the West End stage.

In 2012 the Oscar winning film version received massive international acclaim.

This schools edition, especially adapted for a younger cast, contains all the well-known songs ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘On My Own’, ‘Master of the House’ and ‘Bring Him Home’.

Performances are 7pm today (Thursday), July 15 and July 16, with an additional matinee performance on the Saturday at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £5 and can be purchased from the college reception.
