AN East Devon business has been named one of the UK's top 100 restaurants.
The Jack in the Green at Rockbeare was placed 80th in the top 100 list in this year's vote organised by the National Restaurant Awards Academy, which is made up of prominent chefs, restaurateurs and food critics. Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck in Bray came in first with Gordon Ramsay at number 11, Raymond Blanc at number 14 and Mark Hix at number 60.
This latest accolade completes a remarkable summer for the award winning team and follows a string of other honours and commendations from leading hospitality organisations, trade press and influential guide books.
