AN AXMOUTH man reeled in a whopping lobster - weighing over 10 pound.Jason Barttlett made the catch while out in his boat, Shamrock, at Lyme Bay.He then offered it to Steve Rodgers of Just Fish, in Harbour Road - who decided returning the massive crustacean to the sea was the right thing to do.Steve said: "It's the biggest lobster I've ever seen with my own eyes and I've been fishing 20 years or more."A lobster of that age could be up to 60-years-of age and it's morally wrong to eat something like that."It's better to put it back and let it have its last few years to breed. I feel quite happy he's now back in the sea. I have heard they can live up to 80 years old so there's a chance he could get bigger yet.
