Music-loving youngsters win silver ‘sing up’ award
Seaton Primary School’s commitment to singing has won it a special fanfare.
It has been given a silver award from Sing Up, a national organisation which recognises schools which embrace music.
Presenting their certificate last week a representative of the group said: “I am delighted to be able to endorse your award.
“It is clear that you are using singing throughout the school day to help with lessons and to celebrate as a community. I particularly enjoyed how singing is supporting learning different languages and to remember times tables in maths.”
