Hospiscare's annual Miles of Memories torch-lit walk takes place on Sunday, September 21, alongside Exeter Canal. Hundreds of people from across East Devon are expected to take part in the three-mile walk to remember a loved one.

Judy Spiers, from BBC Radio Devon, will be leading Miles of Memories again this year.

"It's a wonderful atmosphere, a beautiful walk, and every penny goes toward supporting patients with a terminal illness.," she says.

Jenny Bruce from Exmouth was one of over 400 people who took part in last year's walk, describing it as "thoroughly enjoyable".

Entry is £5 for adults, children under sixteen free, with all proceeds helping those who need Hospiscare's support - approximately 650 patients and their families at any one time.

The three-mile route is dog and pushchair friendly, allowing the whole family to take part. Register for Miles of Memories from 6pm on Exeter Quay, the walk starts at 7pm.
