Villagers turned out in force to cheer on competitors when Kilmington Pre School held its annual plastic duck race.

Ushered on by some of the dads, the 400 ducks set off from the bridge at Jubilee Green.

Youngsters from the primary school were there to give them a rousing send off, along with parents and local residents.

People paid £1 to buy a duck, raising £400 for the Pre School.
