TROUBLEMAKERS could be locked out of Lace Walk shopping centre in Honiton as part of a refurbishment plan.

TROUBLEMAKERS could be locked out of Lace Walk shopping centre in Honiton as part of a refurbishment plan.Police have been working with the shopping centre's manager following a string of incidents at Co-op and other outlets.Neighbourhood Beat Manager PC Ian Atyeo told Honiton Town Council on Monday: "Soon there is going to be a refurbishment in Lace Walk, which will include upgraded CCTV."It is a privately-owned shopping centre and the owners are looking at gating it off."If that's the only way the company can see to combat crime, it may be a course of action they can take.
