The gallery’s chances hinge on your vote.

Tomorrow (Saturday, May 16) is the last day to vote for the Thelma Hulbert Gallery (THG) to win a visit from contemporary artist Luke Jerram.

If successful, Luke will bring a spectacular art installation and key Museums at Night event to THG in October.

The gallery has been selected as one of only five venues nationally.

It is also the only one in the whole of Devon to make it through to a public vote.

Angela Blackwell, THG’s curator, said: “We really want to win this vote for Devon. We are in the lead going into the final week, so we are in with a real chance. But we still need more votes to beat off national competition.”

To vote, visit http://bit.ly/lukejerramconnect and select THG.

The public vote closes at 8pm this Saturday (May 16).

THG is up against four esteemed venues - the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre in Scunthorpe, Brunel’s ss Great Britain in Brisol, Gloucester City Museum and Art Gallery and The Lightbox, which is in Woking.
