The successful completion of Dunkeswell Eco Business Park (DEBP) will be celebrated with a launch day on Friday, September 26.

The event, in Marcus Road on the airfield business park, starts at 10.30am and will run until noon.

Demand from local businesses for the units has been strong and occupancy rates are already high. However, Richard Evans, manager of the business park, reports that a few workshop units are still available.

He said: "Flexible rental terms and affordable rates offered specifically to local businesses has really pushed up demand, but we still have a few units available. Friday morning's launch is a great opportunity to have a good look round and talk to tenants already on site."

The project was the brainchild of the local Blackdown Hills Business Association who wanted to utilise the redundant buildings for the benefit of local businesses needing affordable workshop and office space within their local community. The building work has been carried out to high eco-friendly specifications including rainwater harvesting and wood pellet boilers.
