Fun event marks completion of re-branding for Offwell business.

Councillor Graham Godbeer, East Devon District Council’s portfolio holder for the economy, officially launched Honiton Garden Centre last Friday.

Invited guests enjoyed a fun-filled evening at the Offwell business, which has benefited from extensive re-branding and a new, purpose-built shop.

Owner Lisa Bartrop was delighted with the response from customers.

“I’m really chuffed,” she said.

“I am delighted with the positive response to the new branding.

“It is making a difference to the business already.”

Honiton Garden Centre, formerly Colour Wheel Plants, has undergone a major transformation, with the introduction of a vastly extended range of specialist and essential garden items and a lot more.

During the official launch party, a short fashion show was staged.

Compere was the former Mayor of Exmouth, Daryl Nicholas, and clothing was supplied by Honiton boutique Caramel.

The aim was to showcase designer Wellington boots available from the garden centre.

Councillor Godbeer gave a humorous speech to complement the overall fun theme of the evening.

Lisa and her partner, Tony Collins, have transformed the business since they bought the garden centre in 2007.
