A New club for creative writers has been started by a group of like-minded people from the Honiton area.

A New club for creative writers has been started by a group of like-minded people from the Honiton area.

Otter Valley Writers' inaugural meeting was held at the Monkton Court Hotel, Monkton, yesterday (Wednesday).

Pauline Cornwell is chairman and published author Judith Wibberley is secretary.

The group is open to all creative writers, including aspiring poets, but membership will be limited to 10 people.

"We will be focussing on particular writing exercises, reading through and then commenting," said Pauline.

Workshops will be held at Monkton Court Hotel on alternate Wednesdays with social get-togethers held in between.
