‘Lazy’ recyclers

People think skip is full.

With reference to Katy Griffin’s report on the cardboard recycling skip at Tesco - from my own experience early last week, l found the skip half-full after clambering over the pile of cardboard boxes.

They had been left on both sides of the skip, because people were too lazy to flatten and then deposit them. Other people think the skip is full and do the same.

We save all our cardboard for recycling and would not like to lose this facility at Tesco; it saves the long trip to the Sutton centre. Alan Surtees
