It has just produced a glossy leaflet, featuring its mascot, Splodge.
The leaflet, which is being distributed to outlets around the town this week, highlights the need for dog owners to clear up after their pets while stressing that the town's open spaces are for everyone to enjoy.
Handy tips and even a poop scoop bag come with the leaflet.
The educational brochure, which includes a map of the town, is available from Honiton Tourist Information Centre.
