League of friends to support renal unit

HONITON Hospital League of Friends is to support a new renal unit with the gift of a television.

HONITON Hospital League of Friends is to support a new renal unit with the gift of a television.The unit, currently being developed in the grounds of Honiton Community Hospital, is due to open later in the summer.The League spent more than £12,500 upgrading equipment, providing staff training manuals and patient comforts last year.It provided an oxygen level gauge, monitoring equipment, wheelchairs, special profile beds and contributed towards the cost of refurbishing seats in the hospital's reception.
