Members of Axminster Rotary Club and their partners visit Otter Nurseries to hear a fascinating talk about plant propogation
Members of Axminster Rotary Club and their partners visited Otter Nurseries for a tour of the greenhouses.
The 25-strong party heard a talk about the propagation of thousands of bedding plants, specialist and unusual plants.
Amazed by the dedication of the staff to producing seemingly acres of young plants from the cuttings and shoots of other plants, members, many of them keen gardeners themselves, asked questions and received very knowledgeable and interesting replies.
Members finally enjoyed an excellent meal in the Otter Nurseries Restaurant where Rotarian Bill Coltham, acting president-elect, thanked Rotarian Bernie Styles for his hard work in organising the visit.
