Youngsters at 1st Honiton Scouts were delighted to receive a congratulations letter from The Lego Group to celebrate the first placed finish in the town’s carnival.
The scouts donned Lego-themed costumes for the parade and won top prize in their category, as well as winning the best dressed collectors award.
Helen Turner wrote to The Lego Group to tell the company of the youngsters’ win, and in return received a certificate and congratulations letter from the toy manufacturer.
The letter read: “You all look amazing, seems like it was a lot of fun!
“We are humbled your group chose LEGO bricks and minifigures as a theme, so we are sending you a certificate you can proudly add to your notice board.
“I hope your group is as proud as we are of you, Helen, and that you keep getting together and having fun!”
