Easter themed session attracts big turnout at Axminster Library
Book lovers turned out in force after word got out about a family fun day at Axminster Library last week.
Some 21 youngsters and their parents took part in a series of Easter themed events which kicked off with a bounce rhyme session for under fives.
Later the children made Easter bonnets, hunted for some books about eggs, and finished with a storytime, reading ‘Hot Cross Bunny’ by M Christina Butler and ‘The Cow Who laid an Egg’ by Andy Cutbill.
The Easter fun continues on Wednesday (April 11) with a rabbit-themed family fun sessison, from 10am to 11.45am.
