HONITON Town Council's planning committee will on Tuesday consider Lidl's amended plans for a new store on the site of Heathpark Service Station.

East Devon District Council will determine the application, but the town council's view is being sought.

Lidl wants to demolish the BP garage and Budgens convenience store and erect a food store with associated parking.

The company has changed the design of the store, having taken into account town councillors' previous comments.
