THE Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat was at sea for three hours last Saturday, helping two vessels which had got into difficulty.The boat was launched at 5.36pm after an 18ft cabin cruiser broke down off Seaton. It was towed to safety in Axmouth by another vessel.The RNLI then helped a 31 foot yacht which had run short of fuel eight miles south of West Bexington. After sailing 17 miles from Seaton, the lifeboat took the yacht - with four people on board - to safety at West Bay Harbour.
