LYME Regis RNLI lifeboat was launched following reports three swimmers had got into difficulty in a strong current.
The lifeboat was launched at 6.10pm on Monday (August 16) to an area offshore from Lyme Regis, but found the swimmers were not struggling and were able to swim back to shore unaided.
