Vessel with four on board ran out of fuel about one mile off Lyme Regis
Lyme Regis Lifeboat was launched yesterday afternoon (Sunday) to go to the assistance of a small powerboat which had run out of fuel one mile south of the resort.
The vessel, with four people on board, had set off from Lyme earlier in the day on a fishing trip.
Once the stricken boat had been located the RNLI’s inshore lifeboat “Spirit of Loch Fyne” towed it back to harbour.
This was 31st time “Spirit of Loch Fyne” has launched on service this year.
