SEATON town councillors have expressed concern over East Devon District Council's recycling scheme.

SEATON town councillors have expressed concern over East Devon District Council's recycling scheme.While voicing approval that the long awaited scheme is now coming into place, many felt there were shortcomings.Town clerk Philip Higginson also questioned the viability of 'seagull proof' bins. He said: "They are no more seagull proof than my car. The wind will lift the lid and show what is below. It's a fatal piece of equipment."Cllr John Meakin was also concerned that people were obliged to have the bins, even though they had their own.
