Oh no, Mr. Emmett, you are not the only person and your sheep are not the only animals seeing these lights. My daughter's horses, in their field at the top of Whitwell Lane, also gaze in wonder at them. The light is so bright they are able to pick the choicest grass while they wait to be taken in to their stables. On the nights of this amazing light display, no torch is needed to get them in; the field is floodlit free of charge. These invasive lights are the spectacle of the Axe Valley, seen and wondered at from the road to Axminster all the way to Seaton. It is light pollution of the worst kind. These illuminations must be seen from space! And while we are on the subject, the lights at Seaton Cricket Club run a close second in the light pollution stakes. Come on, you clever students at the school, do something about it. It is your world that you are allowing to be polluted, in your own back yard! Jean KreiselerSeaton
