Fire crews were called to Musbury last week after a house in Musbury was hit by lightning.

The incident happened in Haye Lane at 7.31am, on Saturday, October 1. On arrival, crews found that there had been a small fire involving plastic soffits and electrical wiring, which was already out.

The damage to the soffits was minor but the wiring had burnt out and there was further damage to internal electrical sockets and telephone. A thermal image camera was used to inspect the scene and an electrical engineer was requested.
