Seaton’s Yuletide celebrations got under way on Friday when the Christmas lights were turned on and the rearranged carnival heralded the arrival of Father Christmas.
Crowds packed the streets to enjoy the festivities and the late-night shopping.
Seasonal activities continue on Saturday (December 10) when ‘Queen Victoria’ will be the VIP guest at the Victorian Artisan Market on Windsor Gardens and the Town Square, from 10am.
She will be accompanied by her friends - Seaton’s town crier and ‘Scrooge’.
