Honiton and District Lions Club has presented Honiton Tesco with a cheque for £500.

The money will be used by the company’s sponsored charities - Diabetes UK and British Heart Foundation.

Lion Bob Francis said: “Every year, the club has been working with Honiton Tesco in the local community.

“This has enabled us to raise funds to the benefit of local people and their projects, which could have been financially out of reach by the club.”

The donation was made to the two charities as a thank you for the co-operation between the club and Honiton Tesco.
