BARBARA Pescud presented a cheque for �500 to Sarah Willocks, fundraiser for the FORCE cancer charity, with Anne Hibbert, Jacqui Wheatley and Pat King, all from Honiton Lions' Ladies.
The members spent a pleasant afternoon enjoying tea and cakes at Barbara's house, learning a bit about the good work that FORCE does. The club is hoping that a visit can be arranged for some time next year, for members to see for themselves how much people are helped.
The money was part of that raised from various bric-a-brac and plant sales during the year.
