Colyton has a new life-saving piece of equipment thanks to the generosity of the Lions club and other groups in the town.

The Seaton and District Lions Club has recently donated £900 towards buying the machine, which cost a total of £2,400.

The remainder of the money was raised through contributions from SPAR and its customers, Colcombe Castle, Colyton Carnival Club, the Chamber of Feoffees, Colyton Town Council and Colyton Takeaway.

The newly installed defibrillator is prominently installed on the outside wall of the SPAR shop, in the Market Place, Colyton.
