Seaton club raises £500 for Marie Curie during its daffodil appeal collections outside Tesco
Seaton and District Lions Club presented a cheque for £500 to Marie Curie Cancer Care as a result of its collections outside the town’s Tesco store.
Members reported a very good response to this year’s daffodil appeal, before handing over the cash to the charity’s local representative, Natalie Searle.
She outlined the work of the Marie Curie nurses and talked about the money needed to support the organisation.
Seaton Lions also presented a cheque for £500 to the Devon Freewheelers recently.
