An East Devon-based healthy eating charity has launched a new initiative in Honiton.

Thanks to funding from the East Devon District Council, Honiton Together Fund and Honiton Lions, HALFF - Health and Local Food for Families - is running hands-on cookery sessions for Little Stars pre-school at the Honiton Family Church.

The Make and Munch sessions are a free activity and all those taking part can have fun preparing delicious food, plus gaining healthy eating information, meal planning, budgeting, food labelling and tips on how to overcome eating problems. And everyone gets to eat what they have prepared.

These sessions started on Monday, April 18, at the Honiton Family Church, High Street, Honiton and the next session is Monday, May 9.

Little Stars is a toddler group for all pre-school children and their carers. They have a range of ages from bumps to ‘nearly-at-schools’.
