Conservative Andrew Moulding (1,105 votes) and Liberal Deomocrat Doug Hull(910 votes) have been elected in the Axminster Town Ward.
There was a 70.5 per cent turnout.
Conservative Stephanie Jones, Independent Chris Tipping, The Independent East Devon Alliance’s Paul Hayward, Liberal Democrat Martin Spurway and
UKIP’s Lindy Bailhache all missed out.
