Lorry in collision with bus in The Square, Axminster

Road has now been re-opened.
A LORRY has been involved in a collision with a bus in Axminster town centre this morning, police have revealed.
Miraculously, nobody was injured.
The collision occurred at a bus stop in The Square, normally a busy spot for waiting bus passengers.
The bus suffered a ruptured fuel tank and lost its diesel following the crash.

The road through the town centre from Lyme Regis was closed while emergency services worked at the scene.
Fuel was cleared by the fire brigade and the road was re-opened at 11.35am.
