Lottery win for John Green

ONE of Honiton's most selfless residents has been presented with a cheque for £1,000, after winning the Hospiscare lottery.

ONE of Honiton's most selfless residents has been presented with a cheque for £1,000, after winning the Hospiscare lottery. John Green, of Whitebridges, is a familiar face at St Paul's Church, where he is a volunteer. Geoff Stamp, Hospiscare's lottery manager, and Diane Patrick, manager of the Hospiscare shop in Honiton, presented Mr Green with his winnings in High Street last Wednesday morning. Mr Green intends to put his winnings towards the cost of a conservatory.
