AFTER years of planning, an adventure playground for young people in Whimple is set to come to fruition - thanks to a major grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
Liz Silk, who formerly ran the village youth club, has revealed �49,000 has been made available to enable work to start in May.
A cycle track will be developed around the edge of the parish field and humps will be built for BMX enthusiasts.
An adventure playground will also be developed, and it will include a giant bird's nest swing.
