Jim and Iris Kelly reach 50 year milestone.

LOVE is everlasting for one Honiton couple as they celebrate their golden wedding anniversary.

Iris and Jim Kelly, of Millhead Road, married on July 29, 1961, at St Michael’s Church in Awliscombe, and 50 years ago enjoyed a lovely honeymoon break by the seaside in Bournemouth.

Jim, 74, moved to Honiton from London and worked as a caretaker at Honiton Police Station.

His wife Iris, 70, from Awliscombe, was an auxiliary nurse at Honiton Hospital.

The couple have two children, Sue and Simon, and granddaughters Chloe and Kayleigh.
