I recently enjoyed two Christmas lunches. The first, courtesy of the Lions, held in Colyford Hall on December 6.
We had a very enjoyable afternoon. The meal was excellent and, afterwards, we were entertained by Axe Valley Amateur Operatic Society members, and we enjoyed a good sing-song.
Many thanks to all the helpers who made it such a success and also to the volunteer drivers who took us to the hall and brought us back.
The second lunch was later in the week, at Temptations Restaurant, for Seaton Over Fifties Activities Club.
We enjoyed an excellent carvery. The staff were very obliging and catered to everyone's needs. Congratulations all round
