Lyme Lifeboat called to capsized yacht off Beer

Boat overturns during sailing club event

Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat was launched at 7pm last night (Thursday, May 7) after coastguards were alerted when a yacht capsized off Beer.

The yacht was taking part in a sailing club event and a safety boat dealt with the incident before the lifeboat arrived on scene.
