Lyme Regis lifeboat was launched at 2.33pm on Monday (October 3) after a report that a person was in the water and missing from an open fishing boat off Burton Bradstock.

Shortly after the RNLI crew had launched, the West Bay harbour launch reported that all aboard the fishing boat were safe and well and the lifeboat was stood down by coastguards at 2.48pm.
