Sailor makes it safely to shore after boat capsizes off Eype
LYME Regis lifeboat was launched yesterday (Sunday) morning after several people dialled 999 to report a dinghy had capsized off Eype.
Coastguard Helicopter Rescue 106 and West Bay Coastguards were also scrambled.
Once on scene rescuers confirmed the casualty had made it ashore safely. The man and his dinghy were assisted to the beach by coastguards and medical assistance was not required.
