Trevor Morgan receives his Jubilee medal as he steps down as deputy launching authority
The RNLI lifeboat crew in Lyme Regis marked the retirement of one of its stalwarts after a training session on Saturday (December 22).
Trevor Morgan, a deputy launching authority (DLA) for six years, was also responsible for much of the administration work at the station.
He was presented with his Jubilee medal, and a spoof newspaper front page chronicling his time as a volunteer with the RNLI.
At the same time it was announced that John Cable, a lifeboat volunteer for 11 years, had taken on the role of DLA, replacing Mr Morgan.
