Band called LaunchPad is set to take off in East Devon and West Dorset

An up and coming band of five talented young musicians from the local area is set to entertain audiences across the region this year.

LaunchPad has grown out of the developing local music scene and has already performed at several major music events.

These included The Big Mix Festival in Lyme Regis and the Free Souls Festival in Axminster.

Band member Fraser Earle said: “Our band’s got plenty more new music up its sleeve and we’re really looking forward to a great gigging year ahead”

The band is supported by the Lyme Regis based B Sharp music charity.

Kelly Osborne, band mentor said: “At B Sharp our mission is developing the talent which goes on to fill larger spaces and promoting a culture of live music. This young house band is inspiring many younger and developing musicians to play music and bring audiences together.”
