Join the cast of Cinderella and have a ball, say organisers

Having bitten the bullet and accepted the very challenging Cinderella for its next production, Lyme Regis Pantomime Society has launched a quest for men.

Arguably the most popular panto of all time, Cinderella offers a lot of scope for a well balanced cast of both sexes, and the talented Lyme group is anxious to do the show justice by featuring more males.

Secretary Shirley Colley said: “Over the years it has become increasingly difficult to recruit men to take part but we are hoping that Cinderella may inspire them to emerge from the shadows and accept roles.

“The first audition will take place at the Church Hall from 7.30 pm on Monday September 9 when all interested in being involved – in any capacity, on stage or behind the scenes – will be most welcome.”
