Bowling green seats may have been used to fuel a beach bonfire, officers believe
POLICE believe three wooden benches stolen from near the bowling green at Lyme Regis may have been taken for a beach bonfire.
Community beat officer PC Richard Winward said they had been removed from their concrete legs so would have been no use to use as seats.
He said: “If anyone saw this theft occurring or has any information, I would like to know about it.”
