LYME Regis Town Band performed a varied programme at its annual Christmas concert at the Woodmead Halls.
LYME Regis Town Band performed a varied programme at its annual Christmas concert at the Woodmead Halls.
And members were presented with annual awards. Val Mahoney received the Gordon Broom Memorial Shield for his work as band chairman. The award was presented by Stuart Broom, in memory of his father.
Musical director John Powell presented percussionist Angie Taylor with the 'most improved player' award and John Warr received the 'Bandmaster's award' for his excellent attendance and support.
Member Roger Grose said: "The band is grateful to all who supported this concert in any way. Concert proceeds plus new sponsorship will help the band to develop its activities and continue to provide live local music.
