LYME Regis police believe youngsters are inhaling laughing gas after finding numerous small silver canisters in the town.

Pc Richard Winward believes nitrous oxide, used as the whipping agent in cream, is being used as a recreational drug
He said: "It [nitrous oxide] causes euphoria and slight hallucinations. On Wikipedia there is a lot of information under the 'recreational use' heading."
The canisters are about three inches long and shiny silver. Anyone with information can call police on 01305 2222222
