Lifeboat crew, coastguards and paramedics called to cliffs beneath Black Ven
Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat was launched at 1.24pm this afternoon (Sunday, May 3) to assist coastguards after an elderly woman fell on rocks east of the town.
The accident happened when she was walking beneath the Black Ven cliff.
Two lifeboat crew members – Martin Croad and Dan Currall - swam ashore to assist coastguards and paramedics.
It is understood the woman was taken to Charmouth.
